Welcome to my website about my work in philosophy and teaching, which collects together my writings and interests in these areas, including my academic work, A Level Philosophy, and Philosophy for Children.

As an academic philosopher (2001-2019), I presented dozens of papers at conferences and seminars across Europe, USA and South Africa. I published in leading international journals, and co-edited the Oxford Handbook of Philosophy and Psychoanalysis. In my work with my company ‘A Level Philosophy’ since 2003, I have trained over 1000 school teachers in philosophy at A level and given talks to thousands of school children.

I am currently Senior Head of Department and Head of Psychology at Christ’s Hospital School, having previously been Head of Theology and Philosophy (2019-2025).
